Dear Bobby Lave

I am Takashi Onishi ,director of Little Cherries. Do you remember Little Cherries. and me? Thank you for performing with me in Sendai on July 24. ４ months have passed since a happy day of memories. I am sorry that I haven't written mail sooner.
Since then,we were invited to a variety of places in Japan and we did a lot of concerts there. At all the places, many people enjoyed our jazz、and cheered us from the bottom of their heart. Every concert was very significant for us, but Duke Ellington Orchestra was the best. It is said that the music is enjoyed across the border and difference of age. It was the true. We had such an experience former repeatedly and are praying for the thing with that right also from now. We were dreaming at performing together with the star players of the world.　 While we were practicing, you listened to our performance happily, and sent encouragement. In the workshop, you performed together with us and gave us advice carefully about the method of the performance of jazz. We were able to have the pleasant time of exchange with you over two days.
Little Cherries. has 27 years of history.
In long history, it was the highest memorable occurrence、also it was the moment the dream of little cherries came true. I'm sure that neither children nor I forget this wonderful memories in the future. We are thankful to you and members.

Since the concert in Sendai "Take The’ A’ Train" became our most confident repertory.
Since the time spent with the member of Duke Ellington Orchestra was too pleasant, children came to have a big dream in which they would like to hold a concert at NY and to meet again with the member of Duke Ellington Orchestra
Surely, little cherries did concerts 4 times in the United States. However, we do not have the experience yet which did a concert in NY . I wish children's new big dream can fulfill and I’m sure it should be realized.
If there is an idea good for you, please let me know.
I go to NY on November 28 with my wife . I stay at Pennsylvania Hotel for five days,
and I have a plan to investigate whether children's concert in NY is possible or impossible.
Then, there is a thing which I would like to ask of you.
While I am staying at NY, I would like to meet several persons of you or a member.
Is it possible?　I would like to hear your opinion about LC performing by NY.
Moreover, if you give me your wisdom for children. It is very wonderful and I am very thankful to you. I am looking forward to being able to meet you in NY

I really enjoyed the performance of the Blue Jazz Ensemble at the All-West Tennessee School Band and Orchestra Conference last weekend. I am a band director at White Station High School in Memphis and would be interested in hearing future performances by Bobby LaVell.
